pretty much different
It looks like that I pretty much abandon my blog. And my previous blog entry after my Gracie @ 26 got lost and unfortunately I got no back up on it. Too funny that I have a plug in to back up everything at least once a week but for some reason the back up didn’t occurred after the incident. So oh well, no one to blame except me. I am now thinking of changing the back up setting to everyday instead of once a week.
As for my subject: Pretty Much Different, my life turned upside-down with a little bit of spice and twist.
A week (and couple of days) ago, my hubby and bebe finally arrived in LA. After 5 years of waiting, the tears, homesickness and the so-called long distance relationship. They arrived in LAX via Philippines Airlines flight PR102. 13hours of plane ride gave me pretty much mixed emotions. Before, it was them who patiently waited for me every time I visit them. But that day was different. I wanted to pull and fast forward the time. I was ecstatic, nervous, excited, anxious, happy, teary-eyed, etc. My eldest sister and brother-in-law went with me to the airport to pick them up. We didn’t wait for a long time waiting in the airport’s waiting area. I saw my boys in the airport big screen (airport personnel installed a live cam attached to a big screen in the waiting area to see who’ll be coming out). I told my sister that I saw them but disappeared in my sight. I felt super bad because I was thinking that maybe my eyes deceived me. What if I saw 2 totally different people. I stayed quiet for awhile then patiently waited. Then, I saw my boys looking for me!! I called my hubby and they went to hug me right away! I re-introduce my husband to my sister and bro-in-law (they met couple of years back when they visited the Philippines) and finally, my bebe met his ninang and ninong. My mom cried after seeing them. My dad was super excited. And my lil sis gave my bebe tons of toys from the bucket. It was a good sight to see. Surreal but I know it’s happening.
Now, I am enjoying my new role as a hands-on mom and wife. I pretty much gave up my online time and pc usage for my bebe and his pc games. Tons of errands to work on for hubby. And working to provide for the family until my hubby gets a job.
They are pretty much adjusted with everything around here. Seems like that they don’t experience any homesickness. Yet. But my hubby assured that they will definitely will never have any homesick because we are now together in one place.
So now, I’ll be updating thru my WordPress app in my iPhone and for sure will be on-and-off hiatus. I’ll bloghop as soon as I can.. just give me some time to be with my family that I haven’t spent time with for the last 5 years of our lives.
